Read about how interesting this place is, rocky sea cliffs, nature walk with flora and fauna & war relics and remnants of the secret tunnels! hehe
We took Mrt to Labrador Mrt Station and took bus 408 there! Its a 20-30 minutes walk if you prefer to walk there instead!
I printed this guide for us to navigate around for the walking trails. Hehe
1) Maritime History Trail
Begin the trail at Carpark C(Bus 408 stops at Carpark C!), walk along the Promenade that overlooks Keppel Bay and Fort Siloso Sentosa!
Nothing really amazing about the Maritime History trail but we found a cosy corner to chill at near this area! hehe
Labrador played a significant role during World War II. Start off the trail near the Red Beacon area, you will spot this Machine Post.
The next portion of the War History Trail will began at Car Park B entrance area. Its just a short walk from here.
This Old Fort Entrance is the remnants of the wall of an old fort built around 1886. The fort was also protected by the thick mangrove swamp and steep cliffs, which made it impossible for anyone to climb in the past!
The part about this history trail that i was looking forward to: The tunnels! hehe Always very interested in war-time tunnels! It was closed when we went so we took a peep inside it!
3) The Rocky Sea Cliff and the Jetty(Closed for now)
After the crazily warm walk and climb around the reserve, take a stroll along the coast! Thats my favourite part of the reserve! hehe Really nice coastal walk!
I read about how the nature reserve has a rich variety of Flora and Fauna. Didnt see a lot of in this park other than the usual plants you can find around parks in Singapore. Hahaha. A lot of chipmunks around though :D
After exploring the Labrador Nature reserve we walked down to the Berlayer Creek and theBukit Chermin BoardWalk.
5) Berlayer Creek and Bukit Chermin Board Walk
Nothing much about this place but really nice place to take a walk and chill! Super nice view and quite romantic . HAHAHA ya i went with toh shi ting. LOL
There is this pretty cafe in Labrador park and i think its called eco gourmet or something. Told Andrew about it and he went to check, its not the typical cafe but its some fine dining place so its not really a place for me. HAHAHA Cant stand small portioned expensive food! :P
But for those atas people out that you can go and try! We camwhored at an area near the cafe! Super pretty right! :D You can take bus 408 and stop at Car park A to go to the cafe!
Shall end of this post with a few of our happy photos!!
